Herzog & de Meuron conceive buildings as coherent wholes, from the load-bearing structure down to the furniture. In the course of developing their projects, they have designed over 600 Objects including pieces of furniture, light fixtures, textiles, and architectural details, such as coat hooks or door handles. These Objects are tailor-made for specific buildings, places and the people that use them. H&dM Objects manages the pool of existing Objects and creates new ones led by the Atelier and in collaboration with manufacturers, factories, and skilled craftspeople.

The 377 Kispi Towel, designed by Herzog & de Meuron in collaboration with ZigZagZurich, was created to anticipate the completion of their The name of the towel comes from the local nickname of the hospital, Kispi, and the internal H&dM project number, 377.

The towel takes its shape from the floorplan of the hospital, including its 16 courtyards. Pink, the only strong color applied in homeopathic doses throughout the building, was therefore the clear choice for this iteration.

Woven in Austria using high-quality cotton, yarn-dyed to ensure colors stay vibrant, the towels are woven in a super soft twisted yarn 500 gr m/2 - super soft, super comfortable - for the beach or the bath.
